U. S. Tooling & Spas, Inc. is a family
owned company that was founded by a father and son team in 1990. Our company's
founders possess over 35 years of knowledge in the spa manufacturing industry. Both
of our founders worked for other spa manufactures before, and saw how a spa could
be improved in quality, performance, and design.
The foundation for our company was to manufacture spas with the best materials
available, superior workmanship, and the newest technology. In addition, we have
set a foundation that our spas are to be made with common sense, for us the
manufacturer, for the dealer, the consumer, and especially the technician. By using
common sense the spas will be easy to make, to sell, to use, and if needed to
service.
U. S. Tooling & Spas, Inc. owns and manufactures every aspect of their
spas, from the initial design of the spa mold, to the quality handcrafted finish
that looks and feels more like a fine piece of furniture.
Most consumers may not be familiar with U. S. Tooling & Spas, Inc., but
we are one of the largest and most successful spa manufacturer to produce spas for
a private label customer base all around the United States and the World for over
10 years. We are widely known in our industry as a company that can produce quality
spas consistently every time all the time. We have produced hundreds of thousands
of spas for other companies solely as a private label company. This means we made
spas for companies and dealers with their names and their own ideas on our spas.
Signed contracts prohibit us to name these companies, but with all the spas we
made, we have learned and saved the best for ourselves. With all the years of
producing spas with other peoples' ideas and designs, we saw first hand on what
did and did not work. After seeing, some of our private label customers' ideas,
features, and designs fail. We were able to improve and add them to our future
line of spas. Most of our customers' either moved on or called it quits. However,
we knew why, they did not want to send the extra dollar for their customers. This
is why back in 1996 we started designing and rethinking on how we can improve our
spas. The materials needed to make a better spa were common sense, the newest up
to date raw materials, and do not be afraid to spend that extra dollar on
workmanship.
In early 1997, after much anticipation we introduced Diamante Spas to the
industry. We knew that dealers around the industry would look at our spas and
speculate, but after they saw how the spas were made, how they performed, the
quality in workmanship, and that U. S. Tooling & Spas, Inc. made it they knew
we had an excellent product.
Why did we name our own line of spas, Diamante Spas? Well, "Diamante" means
diamond in Spanish, which we felt was the proper name since a diamond takes years
to be made into the most precious and sought after jewel in the world. We still
manufacturer some aspects of a spa for other companies and dealers. Nevertheless,
we are able to separate the features and performance from our private label line
and our Diamante Spas line. Do not take this the wrong way, we make all of our
spas, the best in the industry. However, we still save and use only on the Diamante
Spas those extra features in workmanship and materials that are proprietary for
Diamante Spas.
All the spas that we produce are handcrafted. We only produce a certain amount
of Diamante Spas per year. This way we can control the quality of our spas better
than our competitors. Other spas may be the best production spas, but our spas are
the best-handcrafted spas. Our competitors use an assembly line to manufacture
their spas. Well, if you know how an assembly line works, one spa can have over
100 different hands working or touching it somewhere down the assembly line. This
may work for them who may produce tens of thousands of spas more than us, but their
spas will loose in quality. However, we at U. S. Tooling & Spas, Inc. have the
philosophy to make the best spa on the market with the most friendly and proven
features, one at a time. We produce our spas the least amount of hands working or
touching any spa anywhere in the manufacturing process. We cross train our
employees to know every manufacturing aspect in their departments. For insistence,
in the plumbing department, an employee must know how to drill out a hole for jets,
suctions, filters, etc. on any spa. In addition, that same employee must know how
to install the jet, do all the plumbing of the hoses and manifolds. They must also
know how to install the wood frame, the pumps, and control heads. A different
employee then water tests the spa and run it through a quality cycle to make sure
that all the spa's components work and the spa does not have any defects or any
questionable items.
Our philosophy is taking the extra time to make a spa right the first time. Our
customers will be happy with their spa, they will happily tell a friend about our
spas. In addition, with the great service and knowledge from our dealers, we know
that our customers will appreciate our philosophy on being able to control the
amount of spas we produce a year, so we do not compromise the quality, performance,
or workmanship on your next spa.
