First, you must turn off the power to the spa. Second, unscrew the cap from the drain valve and connect your garden hose. Turn the drain valve ½ turn counter-clockwise and slightly pull the drain valve out. The water will now begin to drain out. Warning; do not let the spa water be drained on grass, bushes, or flower beds because the chemical contents may be harmful to your landscape.
